MIC-MAC (Project 268745), funded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the European University Institute’s European Media and Information Fund (EMIF), is focused on Media and Information Literacy for Citizens’ Empowerment. Its main goal is to address online disinformation in Europe and promote a more resilient fact-based digital information ecosystem. MIC-MAC accomplishes this by supporting educators who work with vulnerable groups to acquire the media and information literacy competences necessary in teaching and learning.

According to “Leading Equality Throughout Society” the European Commission Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025, gender equality is still far from being achieved. Funded by the European Union, the project, “A Drone to Promote Equality on Political and Economic Decision Making” (Project 101086645 – ProPEGE), aims to define new strategies and tools to make advance equal leadership in decision-making positions in political and economic life of many EU member states. A platform is being developed that includes an interactive database of existing good practices, programs and legislation in EU countries.

MYSTIC, funded by the European Union, is an experimental project that will develop, test and disseminate an innovative approach to training youth workers for a new role as ‘Community Animators’ and supporting vulnerable young people to become ‘Community Leaders’ through the MYSTIC Foundation Course. MYSTIC’s main aim is to contribute to recent EU policy on recovery and sustainable growth by helping young people with fewer opportunities unlock their potential. This in turn means supporting youth organisations and youth workers to become more innovative.
